Manual Therapy & Manipulation

Manual Therapy & Manipulation

Manual therapy and manipulation is a specialized form of physical treatment often used in conjunction with regular physical therapy techniques.

This kind of physical therapy is delivered with specific hands-on techniques as opposed to device or machine in an attempt to relieve pain caused by muscle spasms, muscle tension and joint dysfunction.

A bone and muscle assessment is usually performed before undergoing manual therapy and manipulation, our practitioner may need to conduct a full blood and nerve assessment of the affected area in order to decide whether or not there is great risk of complications from this pain management technique.

This technique helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.
